I used to read books and articles about accounting and finance when I was a teenager, soon I realised I liked this field and I started studying Business Administration and Management after highschool. While studying in college I learned a lot about accounting, stocks and markets, I liked reading financial statements to analyse companies in order to invest in opportunities I saw.
After I finished my business degree, I worked as an auditor for a year and I became more interested in accounting. Afterwards I spent four years working in accounting and I was responsible for issues related to accounting, taxes and administration of more than 50 companies in several sectors. Meanwhile, I studied Value Investing focusing on issues about accounting and finance. Mostly, I analyzed financial statements of companies which quoted in the American stock market, therefore I have a strong knowledge of English accounting as well.
Nowadays, I have investments in Ibex-35, NYSE and Nasdaq and I manage my own portfolio. A few months ago I had the opportunity to teach Value Investing to students from the University of Jaén and explain my own strategy of inversion. I have also published more than 50 articles about accounting and analysis.
